Dr. Christopher Fears

Growing up in Scotch Plains, Dr. Christopher Fears is a graduate of Bucknell University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (Rutgers). Graduating at the very top of his dental school class, he was the recipient of many school honors and induction into the OKU Dental Honor Society.
Completing his Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Dr. Fears received advanced training in all aspects of patient care. This included diagnosing and removing the sources of disease and discomfort, restoring damaged dental and periodontal conditions, and managing the emotional and biological requirements of patients-from children and special needs patients to adults and seniors.
Invited to remain on staff at Robert Wood Johnson and energized by teaching, Dr. Fears continues to instruct other dentists in clinic-based and operating room dentistry. Also, fascinated by the materials and technology of dentistry, Dr. Fears exceeds the required amount of continuing education each year with courses, participation in research, product development, peer discussions, and material workshops.
Most importantly, Dr. Fears takes your care personally. He considers your oral function, stability, maintenance, appearance, and its effect on your overall health. Dr. Fears promises that you will understand your options as well as the reasons for the treatments he recommends. He loves treating patients-and it shows.
For the past fifteen years, Dr. Fears and his wife Sandy have lived in Basking Ridge with their two children (14 and 12). With his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, coffee, The History Channel, and whatever his wife “suggests”.
